Cookie policy

- Necessary cookies: session authentication and basic security to prevent abuse, including Cloudflare Turnstile's bot check when you sign up.

- Local storage (localStorage): we store session tokens, user identifier, display name, profile-complete status, preferred language, your optional-measurement choice, and the campaign that brought you (UTM parameters) to keep your account active while you navigate and know which campaign brought you. Without your optional-measurement authorization, it is not used for advertising or external tracking.

- sessionStorage: used temporarily to preserve sign-up data while you confirm your account and we open your initial session.

- Optional measurement: it helps us understand visits, sign-ups, completed profiles, a few key steps in the Pick journey, and which campaigns work. It uses Meta Pixel, which stores Meta's _fbp and _fbc cookies in your browser. We do not share the content of your private messages or your contact list for this measurement.

- First-party measurement: Pick records product usage events on its server (for example, a completed profile or a generated introduction) and the campaign that brought you; it does not use third-party analytics tools for this.

- How to control them: you can accept or reject optional measurement from the initial banner and change it later on this page. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser; doing so may sign you out or remove local data.

- If a cookie can identify you, its processing is governed by our privacy notice and service agreement.
